In the last few years the landscapes are changing at a dizzying speed. “View from the sky” is an imaginary landscape made of bits of bark painted in ash colours… It’s a melancholic landscape, a landscape that you walk through closely (video), where lines and surfaces draw new boundaries. I was interested in the texture of the bark accentuating with the paint the different colours of the bark, composing with the contrasts an object that is both fragile and visually strong. Something between the sensory and the strange.
Dans les dernières années les paysages changent à une vitesse vertigineuse. “Vue du ciel” est un paysage imaginaire fait de bouts d’écorces peintes couleurs cendres… C’est un paysage mélancholique, un paysage que l’on parcours de près (video), où lignes et surfaces tracent de nouvelles frontières. Je me suis intéressée à la texture de l’écorce accentuant avec la peinture les différentes couleurs de celle-ci, composant avec les contrastes un objet à la fois fragile et ayant une force visuelle. Quelque chose entre le senstif et l’étrange.
