VER_ORTEN

In the interdisciplinary project VER_ORTEN from March to July 2024, 18 people between the ages of 16 and 70 sought out favourite, memorable and inspirational places in Werder (Havel) and the surrounding area and explored them through dance and performance. How can we appropriate spaces in different ways? Is a place always already there or do we create it first? What does it mean to VER_ORTEN?

The results of site-specific performance practice, video, sound and cartographic-documentary work were combined into an installation at TANZWERK Werder in mid-July 2024 and could be viewed here. The installation was accompanied by a joint performance by all participants.
