Inspired by the book “Dictionary of Imaginary places” by Alberto Manguel

Alta Plana, Aman, Alali, Phantastico, Snark… For this series, I was directly inspired by the author’s descriptions by graphically realising these fantastic worlds. The choice of aluminium came from the desire to engrave into the material, to create reliefs and irregularities and, in addition, to have a distorting reflection that absorbs elements of reality and integrates them into the composition.
