Paradis Perdus

“Paradis Perdus” is a series of drawings inspired by a poem. Realized during the confinement of COVID, they thematize the idea of landscapes to be imagined, as an image emerging from our memories. Abstract and figurative elements meet around the line and the surface. The choice of the milimetric paper is an allusion to the map, as an attempt to locate a landscape on a map and its geographic coordinates.
Paradis Perdus est une série de dessins inspirés par un poème. Réalisés durant le confinement du COVID, ils thématisent l’idée de paysages à imaginer, comme une image émergeant de nos souvenirs. Eléments abstraits et figuratifs se rencontrent autour du tracé et de la surface. Le choix du papier milimétré est une allusion à la carte, comme une tentative de repérer un paysage sur une carte et ses coordonnés géographiques.
